Kindy Ridge-Found Lake Hike trail head is located by taking Highway 20 to Marblemount, and crossing over the Skagit River and going another 14.5 miles east on
Cascade River Road.
On Kindy Creek Road, take a right and cross the Cascade River. This road ends (according to the guide book I'm referencing) at a wash out, at about 1300 feet elevation. From the washout, walk two miles until you come to an old fire line. This is then described as connecting with the "Found Creek" trail, that's been apparently "long-abandoned" (in other words, I'm not sure if this is listed on a map, so I'm not sure why it's in the guide book)
Round trip the hike is listed as 10 miles, and 12 hours. It's hikable mid july through october. The photo in the guide book makes the area look awesome, and it looks a lot like the alaska wilderness. white mountain peak, sloping into tree line, sloping into grasslands, and rock outcrops, and then bright blue water.
