This should be a good hike, for any one just looking to get away for a few hours, and be out in a wide open expanse of meadowland, with Mount Baker rising in the near distance.

The high point of the hike is 6563 feet, and the hike is listed as 4 hours / 6 miles roundtrip. This meadow is listed as "big and green as they get". The sunsets and sunrises are descibed as awesome. This should give you the idea that there's meadow along the skyline divide trail that is open views in all directions.
