Looks like a great hike, and estimated round trip to Glacier Peak meadows is 24 miles. The guide book I'm looking at says for hikers to give themselves
a minimum of 4 days to make this trip. It's listed on Green Trails map no. 111 Sloan Peak and no. 112 Glacier Peak.
Directions: Take Mountain Loop Highway south from Darrington. At approx. 9 miles, you'll cross over the Sauk River. Then go pass road No. 22 and about a
1/4 mile past the bridge,, take a left on White Chuck River Road, No. 23. Follow this road 10 miles until it dead ends at a trail head parking area. 5 1/2
miles into the trail, you'll come to Kennedy Hot Springs. From there, the trail will climb steeply, and then lessens, to connect with the Pacific Crest
Trail at Sitkum Creek, a total of 7 miles from the road. Here the guide book i'm reading states that there climbers camps.
