Here's another hike I found listed in "100 Classic Hikes in Washington". The photo and description of this area is incredible, with a number of ponds and small lakes, and rock slopes, trees, and grasslands that appear to be throughout the hike. The trail can be found on Green Trails No. 207 Snoqualmie Pass. On the map the trail appears to seperate Wenatchee National Forest to the north, from Alpine Lakes Wilderness, with the area itself listed in Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
